What did it look like before?

Walls in the treatment areas were painted in a pale blue, setting a calming tone. Custom dimmable walnut sconces provide soft indirect illumination. Next to each treatment chair sits a side table for patients’ belongings and practitioner’s supplies.

How do you fit a reception area, consultation room, private treatment room, ten-person community treatment room, two-person office, and kitchen all in a 900-square foot space with heating, air-conditioning, and windows along one wall? First Revamp created a floor plan that minimizes dedicated circulation space and combines functions within the rooms. Next we added room-to-room ventilators, ceiling fans, and transom windows for improved light and air circulation to the smaller spaces. Then we introduced contemporary furnishings and a palette of soft colors with red accents to match the client’s branding. The result is a warm inviting clinic that packs all of our client’s needs in a compact space.

Working with Danielle & Cece was easy, fun and very fulfilling. The expertise, positivity and humor they brought with them made what could have been a very stressful process enjoyable. Through attentive listening and keen insight, they overcame the limitations of a small, raw space and modest budget and created a fantastic environment for us and our patients. When we began the process we were looking at 2,000sf spaces and for various reasons ended up with a unit under 1000sf. Despite this they were able to incorporate all of our requests. Amazing! We very much look forward to working with them in future. –Yuka Hagiwara, L.Ac. & Michael Waterman, L.Ac
