Because every project is unique in its own way, Revamp structures its approach to match. The Revamp process is made up of six phases. We invest time and energy into each stage in order to ensure continuity and comprehensiveness across the entire project. Everything, even our billing strategy, refers back to the process, making the whole project run efficiently and effectively.
The first phase consists of the Client Survey, Site Survey, and Documentation. This is the most important phase of the process, where we take the time to get to know our client, their habits and needs, as well as all the intricacies of the space being renovated. With that information we are able to move onto the next phase, Schematic Design and Development. In this phase we sketch out all the possibilities and loosely present the most successful ideas for feedback from the client. Once a firm direction for the design is established, we move on to the third phase in the process, Construction Documentation, which consists of detailing all the drawings and documentation needed for building and municipal approval. Once all approvals have been granted, construction begins and Revamp moves to Construction Oversight and Correspondence. This is an oversight phase, where the majority of our time is spent ensuring that the progress and quality of construction meets our exacting standards. At the same time, we’re also working on the Purchasing phase. This is the point where we gather all the various items needed for the project to be completed: lighting, hardware, fabric, and furniture. We spend a great deal of time specifying each of the items being purchased and coordinating their arrival, which brings us to the Installation and Client Move-In phase. This is the last and most exciting portion of the process, where the transformation really comes to life. It is a process that involves cleaning, installing hardware, lighting, and window treatments, bringing in both old and new furniture, as well as hanging art and placing accessories.
It's an involved and spirited process, which is deeply fulfilling and satisfying for everyone once it's complete!
