Prior to earning her Master’s degree in interior design, Cece Stelljes worked in the music industry, where she found herself captivated by the look and feel of the many restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and hotels she visited. She noticed the layout of such spaces, the use of textures and colors, the lighting, detailing, and furniture selection: all had a part in making the inhabitants feel like rock stars or, conversely, like nobodies. Eventually her desire to create such environments outshined her music business aspirations, and a career change was in order.

At Pratt Institute, Cece focused on interior design, while also studying furniture and product design. Next, she spent a number of years working at renowned design firms Karim Rashid Inc, Icrave Design, and Roman & Williams, gaining experience primarily in hospitality design while also lending a hand on a condo development and several high-end residences. She has worked on teams creating award-winning designs for STK Restaurants, Tenjune and Coco Deville nightclubs, W Hotel Atlanta, Sushi Samba, Prizeotel, and Nhow Hotel.

Danielle and Cece studied interior design and furniture design together in Denmark one summer and bonded over their love of design, dedicated work ethic, and appreciation for a good laugh. After gaining professional experience at established interior design firms, these two vibrant designers joined forces to offer their talent, creativity, service, and enthusiasm to residential and commercial clients alike.
